Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin have cemented their on-again, off-again relationship! The couple tied the knot in September 2018 at a New York City courthouse — and held a second, more traditional ceremony with friends and family in South Carolina a year later.

The couple may not have sparked a flame until 2015, but they were introduced way back in 2009 — by the model’s father, actor Stephen Baldwin. Following news of their relationship, a Vine video resurfaced that showed the two meeting for the first time. With a hair flip and handshake, Baldwin made her mark on Bieber’s heart.

Though Bieber was rumored to be hooking up with Kourtney Kardashian at the time, the "Love Yourself" singer didn’t bat an eye when it came to showcasing his PDA with Baldwin in an Instagram picture as they celebrated New Year's Eve in 2015.

In a March 2016 cover story for GQ, the Canadian native reflected on his newfound love with Baldwin, and how he wasn't looking to jump the gun by taking the next step too soon. While Bieber and Gomez were giving their relationship a second shot and Baldwin was linked to Shawn Mendes, a source told Us Weekly in December 2017 that the two exchanged texts.“They’ve both moved on,” the insider told Us. “The messages were platonic, and friendly.”

The pair wasted no time planning epic outings following news of their rekindled romance. During one date in late June, Baldwin and Bieber enjoyed a relaxing spa date followed by dinner at New York City’s Cipriani restaurant. Bieber and Baldwin were spotted at marriage license courthouse on September 13, 2018. The following day, a source confirmed to Us Weekly that the twosome secretly tied the knot during their visit. However, after multiple reports, Baldwin debunked the speculation in a tweet later that day. “I understand where the speculation is coming from,” she tweeted. “But I’m not married yet!”

The newlyweds jetted off to London five days after getting legally married at a New York City courthouse. Bieber and Baldwin kissed and cuddled as they took a stroll on September 17, 2018. The pair came under fire after they staged pregnancy photos and jokingly announced they were expecting their first child as an April Fools’ joke.
