One of Hollywood’s most eligible bachelorettes is officially off the market! Following a string of high-profile romances, Jennifer Lawrence settled down with art gallery director Cooke Maroney, tying the knot in October 2019.
Celebrity Engagements of 2019A rep for the Silver Linings Playbook star confirmed to Us Weekly in February 2019 that Lawrence and Maroney were engaged after the two were spotted out in New York City seemingly celebrating something important — with the actress sporting a large diamond ring.
Lawrence and Maroney were first linked in June 2018 after the Joy actress was introduced to the art dealer by her best friend Laura Simpson. Following news of their romance, the two continued to step out together in New York City and Paris on multiple occasions.
Costar CouplesThe month prior to their engagement, a source told Us Weekly the pair were “very serious” and had moved in together. “They definitely appear to be in it for the long haul,” the insider added at the time. “Cooke plays very coy when speaking about her to his friends and colleagues. He is clearly smitten about her.”
Though she said yes to a proposal from Maroney, Lawrence had previously been linked to many of Hollywood’s hottest hunks. The Kentucky native dated Coldplay frontman, Chris Martin, and was also linked to X-Men costar Nicholas Hoult.

Happily ever after! Less than a year after they got engaged, Lawrence and Maroney sealed their romance with a romantic wedding ceremony in October 2019. The pair tied the knot at Belacourt of Newport in Rhode Island in front of celebrity guests including Emma Stone, Adele, Kris Jenner and Cameron Diaz.

Lawrence and the “Something Like This” crooner split in July 2015 after giving their relationship a second chance. “Jen has been working nonstop and they never saw each other,” an insider told Us at the time.

Lawrence and The Favourite actor started dating in 2010 when they met on set of X-Men: First Class. The former pair briefly split in 2013 and later gave their relationship a second shot in March 2014. They ultimately called it quits on their romance in August 2014. Lawrence and Hoult, too, remain amicable exes. “We’re a big family. We’ve been doing these movies since we were 20 years old,” Hoult said in an interview in January 2019 revealing there is no awkwardness between him and Lawrence as they are filmed the latest X-Men installment, Dark Phoenix. “As much as the Skins crowd grew up together, the X-Men crowd really grew up together.”

No hard feelings here. Following their relationship of more than a year, the pair called it quits in October 2017, though Lawrence continued to speak highly about Aronofsky on many occasions. “I still love him very much,” the Hunger Games actress gushed during a February 2018 podcast interview. However, Lawrence also revealed that the director isn’t the only ex she’s kept close with. “I’m friends with all my exes, actually. For the most part, yeah,” she said at the time. “I have a theory. I think it’s because I’m blunt. I don’t think that you can have any sort of bad relationship with anybody if you’re just blunt. Everybody always knows how you feel at all times and there’s no lying, it’s just honesty. Everybody’s a good guy to each other. All my boyfriends have been wonderful. Nick [Hoult] was a great boyfriend.”
