Models and moguls — oh, my! Hailey Bieber (née Baldwin) has close friendships with a number of famous faces, from Kendall Jenner to Gigi Hadid.
The model counts some of her most high-profile colleagues and her relatives as members of her inner circle. However, her allegiances were called into question when husband Justin Bieber, whom she wed in September 2018, was asked to rank her pals during a February 2020 appearance on The Late Late Show With James Corden.
Host James Corden put the Grammy winner on the spot during a game of “Spill Your Guts or Fill Your Guts.” Justin could either list Hailey’s friends from favorite to least favorite or eat a bull penis. “Kendall, Gigi, Cara Delevingne,” he responded.
Justin then explained his reasoning. “Here’s the thing … I know Kendall the best. I’ve spent the most time with Kendall. She’s a good friend of ours,” he divulged. “I haven’t spent a lot of time with Gigi, and I haven’t spent a lot of time with Cara, so I have nothing against those people. It’s just I have a better relationship [with Kendall]. It’s not like I’m like, ‘Oh, screw Cara, screw Gigi!’”
Or, to frame matters more simply: “I don’t want to eat a bull’s penis, you know what I mean? It is what it is.”
Later in the game, Justin proved that one request was too important to him to fulfill when poised with the task of allowing Corden to shave his mustache or eating ant-filled yogurt. He decided on the yogurt before immediately spitting it out.
Not everyone was entertained by the Canada native’s honesty, though. Delevingne clapped back after the episode aired, sharing a clip from the show and a throwback photo of her and Justin at the 2012 Victoria’s Secret fashion show. “Now vs. Then,” she wrote via Instagram. “If you have nothing against me, then why don’t you unblock me?”
The British model concluded: “Love you @haileybieber – he should have just eaten the bull penis.”
Hailey, for her part, has yet to respond to her husband’s ranking.

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star is by far Hailey’s closest BFF. The pair have matching tattoos, and Jenner hosted her pal’s bachelorette party in September 2019. “She was actually best friends with Kylie [Jenner], and I was good friends with her cousin Ireland [Baldwin],” the reality star told Elle in her June 2018 cover story. “Hailey lived in New York, and whenever we were there, we would hang out with her.”

Models stick together! Bella is a longtime friend of Hailey’s, thanks to their ties to the industry. Hailey also turned to Bella when Justin was diagnosed with Lyme disease, from which Bella also suffers. “I wanna say a huge thank you to @YolandaHadid and @bellahadid and @GiGiHadid for bringing me so much clarity and information on Lyme disease and for helping answer my questions about course of action, symptoms etc. Love you 3 amazing women!” Hailey tweeted in January 2020.

Hailey connected with Gigi via the modeling world, though their relationship is a bit more complicated due to Justin’s bad blood with Gigi’s pal Taylor Swift. However, Hailey confirmed the two are friends. “Even though I’m five-foot-eight, I’m not a runway girl and I totally used to feel inferior to some of my friends,” she told Vogue Australia in her October 2019 cover story. “Look at Kendall and Bells and Gigi. … They’re all tall and doing every runway.”

Smalls and Hailey frequently model together, and she was among the girl gang that supported Hailey at her September 2019 wedding to Justin. “THEE prettiest bride you’ll ever see,” Smalls gushed on Instagram.

Skye stood by her friend’s side at her second wedding to the “Yummy” crooner — they first tied the knot privately at a New York courthouse in September 2018. “BFF,” Hailey wrote of a photo of the two in January 2018.

As Kendall previously detailed, Kylie was close to Hailey before her older sister swooped in. The women remain friends, though they are not as tight as Hailey and Kendall.

Another complicated connection. Delevingne assured fans she still loves Hailey in February 2020 after the “Spill Your Guts or Fill Your Guts” debacle. However, the Carnival Row star is one of Swift’s besties, much like Gigi.

Ireland raved about her cousin in August 2019. “She’s my little cousin, like my little baby,” she told Us Weekly exclusively, adding: “I love Justin and I love Hailey. I love spending time with them.”
